Retinol 0.5 is ideal for reducing signs of aging skin and sun damage. Formulated with 0.5% pure retinol and calming chamomile-derived bisabolol, this night cream can helps minimize the appearance of pore size, while reducing the appearance fine lines, wrinkles, and skin discoloration, while minimizing breakouts and the appearance of pores. Retinol 0.5 is recommended for first-time retinol cream users and is ideal for continued use or for conditioning skin as a prerequisite to SkinCeuticals Retinol 1.0.

How To Use

In the evening, apply a pea-sized amount of this night cream to clean skin, avoiding the eye area. Allow for absorption before applying other skincare products. Limit initial use to once or twice a week, gradually increasing frequency as tolerated. Retinol is prone to increase photosensitivity. Always use a high-concentration, broad spectrum sunscreen when using this product.

As a precaution, retinol cream products should not be used by pregnant women, or women who intend to become pregnant in the near future. Though there are no reports of topical retinol having any negative effect on fetal development, some problems have been reported with ingested retinoic acid.

This was very drying for my skin and took several weeks for the redness and burning to cease. I have tried introducing it again no more than once a week with a lot of moisturizer before and after and my skin is much less sensitive now.

Belle texture

J’aime beaucoup la texture de la crème et celle de ma peau depuis que je l’utilise. C’est nouveau pour moi le retinol, mais en appliquant un soir sur deux je n’ai aucune difficulté avec des effets indésirables. Ma peau semble plus douce et uniforme .

Great product!

I’ve been using retinol 0.3 for a few years now. It’s a great product. I decided to up it with retinol 0.5 now. For me it works better mixing it with a good moisturizer because applying it just alone makes my skin peel off.
